PROJECT SUMMARY

This project comprises of the construction of 16 residential units in the medieval Grand Parade Quarter of Cork City, County Cork. The city centre is an island positioned between two channels of the River Lee which meet downstream at the eastern end of the city centre, where the quays and docks along the river lead outwards towards one of the largest natural harbours in the world.

Cork City Council has released details of the first phase of the €46.05 million “Grand Parade Quarter” project which will see a complete renewal of the area around the southern gateway to the medieval city, connecting the Grand Parade and a series of historic lanes, streets and Bishop Lucey Park with the south channel of the River Lee and the city centre business core.
