PROJECT SUMMARY

The proposed development will produce 72 residential units with a mix of 2 storey semi-detached and terraced 3-bedroom and 2-bedroom dwellings and 1-bed apartments.

The development includes 3 distinct House types and 1 distinct apartment blocks which range in size from 1 to 3 bedroom units. This allows for a range of tenancies.

This range of house and apartment types ensures that the development is suitable to people at all stages of their lives.
The semi-detached and terraced houses are provided with generous rear gardens which allows ample room for the construction of extensions without a major impact on the private amenity space.

An example of how a typical house type can be extended at both ground and first floor is included below this column. A range of the proposed dwelling types also allow for future expansion into the attic space to create additional storage or other uses.

Construction of this development begins Quarter 4 of 2022. Completion is due Quarter 1 of 2024

The site is located in Caslteisland county Kerry. The site is c.25km from Killarney City centre and c.17.5km from Tralee.

The site is bordered to the South by existing dwellings and to the East by the River Maine. The West of the site is agricultural pastures.
